How do I use Supple Cups?
Center the Supple Cup onto the nipple and squeeze the bottom of the Supple Cup as you gently press it onto the nipple. This creates a gentle vacuum, drawing the nipple into the Supple Cup.
What if I can’t get the Supple Cup to form a tight seal?
For an improved seal, apply a small amount of nipple cream or butter – such as USP modified lanolin – on nipple and interior of the Supple Cup. If that still doesn’t work, you may want to try a different size.
What size do I need?
Use a tape measure / ruler to measure the diameter and length of your nipples, when erect. Do not include your areola. Based on your measurements, select the size that would fill around 50% - to allow room for suction and growth:

How do I clean Supple Cups?
Before first use, sanitize by boiling for 10 minutes. After each use, wash Supple Cup with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and dry.
How many hours per day should I wear Supple Cups?
New users typically wear Supple Cups for 15 minutes on the first day. If no pain or discomfort is experienced, one may advance the time each day, gradually increasing to four hours per day by the end of the first week.
Can I wear Supple Cups under a bra?
Some are able to wear the Supple Cups under a bra without the Supple Cup being displaced or without discomfort. Alternatively, Breast Shells can be used in conjunction with Supple Cups to prevent a tight bra from flattening out the Supple Cups or from causing uncomfortable pressure or from being detached from the nipple.
Can I use Supple Cups if I am pregnant?
Please make sure your healthcare professional is aware that you are using Supple Cups during pregnancy. It is best to use before becoming pregnant or early in the pregnancy. While extremely rare, use with caution after 20 weeks of gestation as nipple stimulation can cause contractions. In the last trimester, milk may leak and cause the Supple Cup to dislodge. Stop use immediately if you notice uterine contractions.
Can I use Supple Cups postpartum?
Supple Cups can be worn for 5-10 minutes prior to latching baby. Supple Cups can also help reduce edema and engorgement when a normal nipple becomes flattened.
What should I do if my nipple color becomes either blue, purple, black, deep red or white?
Discontinue use and contact your healthcare professional.
Can I wear Supple Cups if I have an open sore, cut or rash?
No.
